Marinvent Corporation was awarded the James C. Floyd Award at the Annual Aerospace Dinner of the AIAC Summit, in Ottawa. The James C. Floyd Award acknowledges individuals or a team that has made an outstanding contribution to the Canadian aerospace industry. This contribution may be a technological, political, entrepreneurial, research-based, policy-based or student accomplishment, of which the significance and impact warrants an exceptional level of recognition.

Marinvent Wins Training Contract With CAE Through CAPE Program

Marinvent announces today the recent award of a DO-178C and DO-254 training contract with CAE Mission Solutions. This agreement has been awarded through the CAPE program. Marinvent will present a 4 day overview course to CAE covering RTCA DO-178C and DO-254 certification guidance for airborne systems.
Marinvent and ETS successfully develop a wireless prototyping process for Marinvent’s APM through Engage project

Marinvent announces today the successful completion of its Airfoil Performance Monitor (APM)-Engage project. The project, recently completed in collaboration with École de technologie supérieure (ETS), has been a huge success and has demonstrated the intrinsic value of strong partnerships between Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) like Marinvent and research institutions like ETS. The result of the project is the successful development of a rapid prototyping process for Marinvent’s APM through the use of wireless APM mast technology.

Marinvent announces today that it has signed an agreement to join the Ohio/Indiana UAS Center & Test Complex (UASC&TC) User Advisory Panel along with its US-Joint Venture partner, Advanced Aerospace Solutions (AdvAero). The User Advisory Panel has been formed in support of the Ohio/Indiana team’s bid to be selected under the recently announced Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) UAS Test Site Screening Information Request (SIR).
